We all know someone with Traveller’s Logorrhoea. That person who goes away on holiday and then just won’t shut up about it. They constantly try to show you pictures, or at least to flood social media with them. They start sentences with “When I was in…”, even though the conversation had nothing to do with travel up to that point. The sort of people with annoying catch phrases like “Live like a local.” The sort of people that include the two of us.

The difference between us and the rest of those people, though, is that we’re trying to be helpful. If you’re reading this, you probably want some advice on a travel-related subject. Perhaps you need help figuring out how to go away for a weekend with only a carry-on, or perhaps you want to know about what to see in one of the locations we’ve visited. Maybe you just like reading interesting stories about travel. That’s exactly what you’ll find here.

We also understand that travel is a holiday, not a lifestyle. We won’t tell you to live like a local. Eating like a local is a great way to get inexpensive, authentic cuisine, but the truth is that locals have to work. The digital nomad thing might work for some people, but most of our readers have to show up in a physical workspace. They have to manage work and budgets and families. We respect that. We share a lot of the same concerns. While some of our trips are luxury trips with luxury budgets, some of them are designed to be cheap city-breaks. If, like us, you live in the UK, you might be able to do some of these in a single day. So without further ado, let’s meet the team.

Christopher Higgins

This is his second attempt at a travel blog, after his first one was shut down during COVID-19. Some of those original articles are likely to be recycled for Traveller’s Logorrhoea. Christopher is a low-maintenance traveller who will be responsible for a lot of the budget-friendly and adventure holidays.
